Poetry

My favorite kind of quote or poem is one that shouts at you or cries out or whimpers. I like words with voices, so I hope you will too.

Words with
Voices: Reworked

WWVR Cover Reveal Square.png

The Paperclip

Thin and metallic,

Bent out of shape,

Holding it together

Until the bending breaks.

You want organized?

Done.

Pieces fluttering to the floor?

Not one.

But remember

Commitment is for staples.

Footsteps

For us writers

It isn't always

The words that save us--

Sometimes it's just the typing,

The repetition in clacking keys

That sounds like returning footsteps

Come back, come back

Please, I type,

Come back.

Flawed

Howling in silence

Can't hear her at all

No truths and a lie,

Never meeting your eyes,

Unable to thaw.

Feigning a storm,

Aloof, pleading squall

Ice bitch nor queen,

Can say what she means,

A nonfatal flaw.
